Before joining Yas Healthcare, Dr. Hafez spent over 25 years as the lead consultant psychiatrist at the highly reputed Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he led a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and psychiatric social workers. His experience in the Middle East region also extends to Saudi Arabia, where he worked at the renowned Riyadh Military Hospital in Riyadh and the King Fahad Military Medical Complex in Dhahran.

Dr. Hafez’s psychiatric experience in the United Kingdom spans multiple hospitals across England and Wales, including the West Cheshire NHS Trust in Chester, the Freshfield Mental Health Unit at South Downs Health NHS Trust in Brighton, the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, Whitchurch Hospital in Cardiff and the Exeter Mental Health Unit at the Devon Area Health Authority in Exeter.
